Use the My Link feature to invite guests to your event. Follow the instructions below to paste the link into a personal email or text message, or post it to social media, a chat program, or any other tool you would use to invite guests.
Here's how to use My Link:
On the website:
- Create a new event by filling in your event details on the About, Where, When, Settings, and Customize pages.
See: How to create an invitation to an event. - Once you have finalized your invitation, proceed to the Guests page.
- Click My Link in the tabs at the top of the page.
- Click in the field showing the unique URL for your event. Then click Copy.
- You can now paste the link into an email, text message, social media post, etc.
On the iOS or Android App:
- Create a new event by filling in your event details on the About, Where, When, Settings, and Customize pages.
See: How to create an invitation to an event. - Once you have finalized your invitation, you will land on the Event Summary Page.
- Select Copy Link near the bottom of the page. Your link will automatically be copied to your device's clipboard.
- You can now paste the link into an email, text message, social media post, etc.
- Alternately, you can click Share (under Copy Link). This will open your device's sharing screen. When you select an option, the link will be posted along with a short editable message.
If you edit your invitation after more than 15 guests RSVP via My Link, you will be prompted to upgrade to Poply Premium if you haven't done so already. To learn more about Premium, click here.
Please remember that anyone with the My Link to your party will be able to see the time, date, location, and guest list to your event.
